Artist's Description
A living memory of the Old West.
Inspired by the blue skies and hundred mile views, I am at once transported back to the rugged beauty of the American SouthWest. From Albuquerque to Santa Fe, the historic trail passes through a world where the mining and jewelry making have changed little since pueblo miners.
The Southwest Native Americans considered turquoise a sacred talisman for health, happiness and protection. “The Turquoise Tail” embodies the powers to shield the few surviving bands of wild Mustangs, a living memory of the Old West.
