If we are fortunate enough to have had a wet Winter in southern New Mexico; come Spring the desert floor will bloom with and array of color. At the foot of the Organ Mountains in Las Cruces, New Mexico, the desert floor is comes alive with bright yellow poppies. On a bright Spring day saturated with the color of Poppy blossoms. The tempo of heavy impasto strokes, transform the landscape into an impressionistic medley of vibrant hues and textures.
