During my days working for a large newspaper, I had a dear friend who would commute 90 minutes one way, to work. No one could really understand it but he just felt it was what he had to do. I often think of that determination when hiking the rugged terrain. Our early pioneers, ranchers, farmers and cowboys taking the long road, 'Heading Home'.
