Not to long ago, for the sake of the family we had the opportunity to care for my Mother. Being twenty four hour caregivers for my Mom, who suffered from dementia was one of the most challenging times we faced. You do the best you can and make the best decisions you can at the time. During this time someone was always with her, so while my Mom sat and looked through her magazines or watching television, I would paint in the kitchen so I could be with her.
So out of these challenging times my Mom gave me a gift. An opportunity to paint and create a body of work.
Searching for Memories was for her, the endless trail of soft colors and purple mountains.
