It was another clear, beautiful, crisp winters day in Colorado. We drove the winding road that parallels the Arkansas River towards the mountain town of Salida. It's a gorgeous route thru the deep canyon walls that protect the river and create its home. I've taken this trip many times and each one presents me with yet another visual treasure. Shadows and light upon the water and endless variety of textures that surrounded me, created a tapestry for the senses. Itook many notes standing in the icy water and captured as many images, with the hope of expressing the spirit of this place. There is something about that magic moment of knowing your 'In the Flow'.
